As you can see on the comments throughout this blog, Glo released an update tonight. It sounds like they have ironed out the problems many of you may have experienced during the installation process. We did a test installation here, and the process went smooth, indeed. So it sounds like it’s time for you to install the DVDs and check out the Glo Bible.
The new update will be downloaded automatically when you install the DVDs.
Thank you so much for your patience with this “Pre-Release” new product. We know the last few days have not been ideal, but you will be able to experience and be part of a COOL product way before anybody else.
We will continue to monitor this blog for the coming days and post any updates on daily basis. If you find any difficulties or issues, please email glosupport@immersiondigital.com.
If you have successfully installed the Glo Bible and are enjoying using it so far, please post a positive comment to this blog…the team has been working non-stop and could very much use a lift!
(By the way, the Glo support team does say in their announcement that if you have installed Glo past few days, you should re-install the DVDs, but before you re-install, delete the “Immersion Digital” directory in “Program Files” and “Glo” directory in “ProgramData” directory.)

Some of you are still experiencing "...Not Available Until August 5th..." message when you install Glo Bible. Glo Bible requires the Internet connection when you install. So we "think" if you don't have the Internet connection on when you start installing the DVD, you get this message. So try to have the Internet connection on and let us know if you still have this issue. Thank you...

If you start the "Upgrade" process and abandon, you will be asked to enter the Serial Number to get back into Glo. This is basically asking for the Serial Number you have purchased to fully activate the product. Since the purchase process was abandoned, you won't have the serial number, and you won't be able to get back into Glo. The Glo development team is aware of this, and working actively to address this issue. Sorry, but stay tuned for the update on this one.

Because Glo has a lot of rich media, it takes a little bit of time to install. Plus on your first install, it will try to download the latest updates, so that takes a little while, too. Depends on your computer and the Internet speed, expect 30 - 45 minutes for the INITIAL installation process to complete. When you upgrade Glo, it will try to load the remainder of Disk #1, as well and Disk #2 and Disk #3. This DOES take a long time. It will take 2 - 4 hours, depends on your computer speed. The installer has to copy and extract almost 18GB of virtual tours, videos, pictures, etc. At times, while the installer is extracting these files, your installation may appear to be hung. But hang in there, it's usually not. Your computer is just working hard to extract these files...
